Nava Health is seeking a resourceful, hands-on Director of Talent Acquisition to join their team. The ideal candidate is startup-minded and ready to roll up their sleeves to help grow our chain of health & wellness centers. They set a strategic direction to identify, implement and refine our recruiting processes, tools, and resources and ensure that we meet our annual hiring goals. The Director of Talent Acquisition will help to build a culture of innovation aligned with Nava's strategic goals and mission.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manages the talent acquisition process, which includes recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Responsible for managing workforce headcount to support productivity and efficiency goals.
  • Innovate existing recruiting strategies, methods, and systems to generate a proactive and efficient approach to improving the quality of candidates and time to hire
  • Explore and utilize various candidates sourcing channels like networking, direct sourcing, social media, career sites, employee referrals, job portals, and emerging channels
  • Measure and improve key business metrics (E.G., Glassdoor ratings, Indeed ratings)
  • Manage Best Places to work initiatives in M.D., VA, and future markets.
  • Implements human resource strategy in alignment with the organization’s short-term and long-term business goals.
  • Develops, implements, and communicates human resources policies and procedures to meet organizational goals of client experience, quality assurance, and safety.
  • Creates learning and development programs to train and provide employee internal development opportunities.
  • Supports employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations in compliance with the policy. May be required to perform routine tasks in delicate circumstances, such as providing reasonable accommodations and investigating allegations of wrongdoing and terminations. Investigates and responds to internal and external complaints, federal/state agency actions, and legal issues.
  • Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and people strategy, particularly concerning current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS and talent management systems.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • A minimum of three years of human resource management experience is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is highly desired.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
