Responsibilities:
  • Oversees entire agency and agent onboarding process, meeting all stated, federal and company requirements, including preparation for commission activation.
  • Ensures proper completion and implementation of agency and agent contracts, marketing agreements, and documentation of sales targets.
  • May administer programs and monitoring to ensure compliance with external agent credentialing and training requirements.
  • Oversees sales support and administrative services to non‐employee sales producers such as broker agents, field marketing organizations, and independent contract agents.
  • Leads team acting as internal liaison and customer service resource for external producers relative to enrollment and policy questions, systems issues, and coordination of materials fulfillment.
  • As one aspect of broader support role, may support or manage administrative aspects of commission payments such as routine tracking, reporting, and troubleshooting issues relative to missing or disputed payments. (Jobs focused on agent incentive design belong in human capital, and jobs focused primarily on payment decisions and nonroutine sales analysis / reporting belong in finance.)
  • Supports all activities with timely, effective and meaningful reporting to both department and business, with a strong ability to manage up around key escalations. Has full command of status and process flow as demonstrated and communicated in those reports
  • Strong and effective communicator with balanced and assertive departmental and individual management skills
  • Has a broad range of skills from licensing requirements to call center service management. Includes full
  • Medicare certification and program requirements, combined with the ability to problem solve in the sector
  • Seen as a leader and critical component of successful sales both internally and externally

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Resident state license required or obtainable within 90 days after hire date
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Medicare Advantage sales or contracting role
  • Minimum of 5 years in Medicare insurance products
  • Broker services experience as representative, or team management preferred
