SolarEdge, is global market leader for smart energy solutions, with over 20 years of experience in the Electric Automotive Industry. We are looking for Director Sales North America to lead our efforts in becoming a major player and brand in the EV environment. This search is for “SolarEdge e-Mobility”, which is not currently represented in North America.
SolarEdge e-Mobility, located in Germany and Italy, is a leading innovator of integrated and modular powertrain solutions for EV market. Our strong focus on technologies and research & development allows us to provide customers with full EV system integration services, as well as key components and systems, such as power electronics, e-Drive and battery packs. Location: Remote (Mid-West)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identification and development of new accounts
- Acquisition of new customers and projects in North America
- Improve market intelligence
- Support and initiate marketing activities in the region
- Participation in Business Planning
- Support identification of market demand to create technology roadmap
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- More than 10 years experience in automotive business
- Experience in different automotive segments
- Strong affinity for commercial and technical aspects
- Skills in sales of electronic or mechatronic components or systems which include electronics
- Competence in working in international environment
- Ability to work sovereign and combine startup mentality of the company with the attitude of very traditional industry
