Role Summary

As the Director of Sales for Codazen you will be responsible for leading key initiatives to drive efficiency and productivity throughout the sales organization. You will also manage a team to build and maintain profitable, professional working relationships with our clients.

This individual is responsible for developing intelligence across the revenue funnel, implementing performance metrics, and improving the systems, processes, and data that support Codazen's strategic commercial objectives.


Role Requirements

  • Manage the sales organization, including managing day-to-day workflow, responding to and resolving incoming feedback from clients and internal employees.
  • Develop a high-performing sales organization that supports the entire customer lifecycle, including, lead generation, forecasting, trending, and developing dashboards
  • Identifying target opportunities, both industry and customer-specific, to establish revenue growth targets of Account Managers
  • Providing executive support, or personal ownership of designated customers or segments, to land high-value opportunities
  • Align and drive strategic initiatives from Codazen Leadership across internal resources and Identify market opportunities and customer segmentation to align efforts of Account Manager for optimal execution and performance
  • Monitor operational and revenue trends and proactively implement action plans to overcome obstacles to success.
  • Guide standardization of analytics and KPIs across Account Manager team to ensure consistency and accuracy related to estimations and SOW's
  • Lead pipeline performance analysis to identify areas of concern and best practices. Use this analysis to provide actionable feedback and areas of focus.
  • Identify training needs, and initiate enablement activities to ensure the Account Manager team has the right tools and knowledge to be successful in clients onboarding, driving revenue, upsell, etc.
  • Provide thought leadership for sales systems, processes & improvements: work with Leadership to map out ongoing improvements, processes, and updates to align with the needs of the organization.
  • Leading efforts to establish sales collateral to help highlight company offerings
  • Must be okay with up to 20% travel

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of Account Manager/Sales experience, preferably in the Technology/Web/Software industry.
  • 2+ years of experience managing & mentoring members of a sales team
  • High level of customer awareness
  • Able to reflect, analyze, and learn from customer feedback
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to work within, and contribute team's success
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Familiarity with the technology industry and current web trends
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • This role will be 100% onsite Monday through Friday based out of Irvine, CA.

  • Experience with technical and/or business writing
