Responsibilities-

The Operations Director is responsible for day-to-day operations, managing the following organizational teams: Finance, Human Resources, Maintenance, IT/Admin, and Community Outreach. Reporting to the Executive Director and serving as a member of the leadership team, this position's primary responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organization's financial and operations functions. Working with the leadership team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, and practices. This position will also interact with the Board of Directors.

Qualifications-

• Degree or certification in Accounting or Business-Related Field.

• Minimum of five years of experience in accounting, finance, budgeting, and operations management. Nonprofit experience preferable. Proficient in MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with individuals served and co-workers.
• Must be self-motivated and show strong interpersonal communication skills, able to problem solve and respond effectively to emergency situations.
• To work with colleagues and work independently to carry out job duties as assigned.
• Displays exceptional documentation skills and knowledge of systems, routines, and programming.

• Pass an MN Department of Human Services Background Study.
