Overview:
The Director of the Digital Programs Office is responsible for the management of all digital contracts and oversight and management of the digital portfolio for Presbyterian Healthcare Services. The overall intent of the position is to ensure that digital investments are paying off and seeing a return on investment for Presbyterian.

The position will report to the Chief Digital Officer and spearhead the business owner relationships with digital contracts.

This role will create and monitor measures and metrics for the digital portfolio. They will also work with business owners to incorporate Net Promoter Scores into digital tools to track performance. The position will be responsible for the intake of digital tools into the Architecture Review Board (ARB) process and assist business owners and architects with the approval process. Additionally, the role will assist with maintaining and updating the enterprise digital roadmap across Presbyterians verticals and tracking enterprise milestones.

The Director of the Digital Programs Office will be responsible for the enterprise digital portfolio, intake of new solutions, and overall enterprise digital roadmap/milestones. During the initial months, it is expected that the Director of the Digital Programs Office will work closely with key business owners across the enterprise, architects, and digital team to holistically understand the breadth of current digital solutions. This role will also have a Senior Business Analyst on to provide support.

This leader must be obsessed with matching business/organizational needs with technology capabilities to reduce waste and leverage best in class solutions with a goal for helping PHS become an upper decile organization in the use of digital technology. He/she must be able to lead transformations quickly and broadly, have a strong bias for action, be a thoughtful, creative thinker who gets things done. The Director of the Digital Programs Office will play an integral role in strategy development and own the overall digital solutions portfolio's performance, partnering with business owners and key stakeholders across the PHS enterprise and lead digital tools through approval, adoption and maintenance.
Qualifications:
The Director of the Digital Programs Office role is anticipated to expand as other new technologies are developed and opportunities for further digital transformation evolution.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree. A Masters' degree in a related field is preferred.

Ten or more years of experience in healthcare operations, management or digital leadership, specifically focused on digital products, enterprise management, and technical roadmaps.

Candidates must have experience leading projects in a complex, highly regulated industry.

The candidate preferably will have experience leading clinical or digital transformations, with strong skills in change management.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to all levels of employees.

Ability to develop, articulate, and sell a new technology and enterprise roadmap and the associated underlying architecture.

Ability to listen, interpret, and accept feedback received from disparate customer groups and create executive level presentations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage all digital contracts for enterprise digital products and set targeted measures and metrics with a goal of improving performance, utilization, and patient satisfaction with digital products.
  • Increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness by guiding business owners through ARB to reduce waste and duplication within PHS
  • Ability to develop, articulate, and lead digital product intake and review consistent with organizational commitment to digital transformation
  • Partner and collaborate with key business owners and stakeholders within PDS, PHP, revenue cycle, enrollment, claims processing, and the call center
  • Collaborate with the Chief Digital Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Analytics Officer on projects that touch both digital customers and Presbyterian core systems (EMR, claims system, etc.).
  • Must be able to drive people, process, and technology change effectively in a dynamic and complex operating environment.
