Digital Copywriter REMOTE (6 Month Contract)

Deliverables/Principal Results Expected: Remote - 6 Month Contract
Pyramid Healthcare is looking for a contractor Digital Copywriter to join our marketing communications team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help shape the voice of each of the 15+ Pyramid Healthcare brands. Through your work and your words, you will be helping to connect individuals in need with life-changing mental health and addiction treatment services. This is a 100% remote opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of our business, brands, services and target audiences to deliver high-quality content
- Write content for primarily digital communications, including flyers, websites, emails, video scripts, presentations and social media content
- Adapt messaging to the intended audience in a way that is understandable and digestible
- Collaborate with designers and other marketing stakeholders to ensure that content is on-brand and meets objectives
- Strengthen brand identity through well-written copy
- Drive increase in email open rates through engaging subject lines and message text
- Work with social media team in order to utilize engaging content across social channels
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in writing, communications, journalism, marketing or related field
- 3-5+ years of experience as a creative copywriter in a corporate or agency setting
- Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills
- Ability to work with others and balance many projects at the same time
- Knowledge of SEO principles, marketing funnels, and inbound marketing tools like Marketo a plus
- Self-starter with the ability to adapt to changes and turn things around quickly
- Experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels
- Detail oriented, excellent time management with strong sense of urgency
- Marketing and copywriting experience in the healthcare industry a plus
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in writing, communications, journalism, marketing or related field
- 3-5+ years of applicable experience as a creative copywriter
