This position is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to start a career in the dietary or culinary field. However, all interested applicants are encouraged to apply. No experience necessary, we will train.
Hours: AM or PM shifts available. Every other weekend and every other holiday.
- Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
- Stock and label ingredients for convenient accessibility.
- Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking the meals
- Prepare ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc.
- Prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees, desserts etc.
- Maintain a clean kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc.
- Ensure food and other items are stored properly
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines
- Perform other kitchen duties as assigned
- Must be able to pass a caregiver background check.
