Job DescriptionResponsible for ware and pot washing, serving residents and guests, following safe food handling guidelines and proper sanitation procedures, utilizing preplanned menus and cleaning schedules Job Responsibilities
1. Ability to work all stations in the department, such as dish room, nourishments, pot washing, and dining room assistance.
2. Prepares cold food and special items for residents following preparation and nourishment lists.
3. Responsible for daily assignments on Sanitation Schedule and maintaining the cleanliness of their own area.
4. Functioning as dining room server, bringing food and drinks to residents.
5. Clearing tables after meals are finished.
6. Working the dish-room, scraping plates, loading and unloading dishwasher, washes pots and pans.
7. Prepares trays on resident tray line.
8. Follow procedures for correct forecast for meals for corrections.
9. Assure proper sanitation and food handling guidelines to avoid cross contamination of food and equipment.
10. Clean all pots, assist with meal service, sweep and mop all floors, along with daily sanitation routines and assigned projects.
Physical Requirements
Moderate physical demands including walking, bending and twisting of the waist. Lifts objects of 50 pounds frequently.
