Job description
The Deputy Director Airports coordinates and administers multiple program areas which may include: the operations, emergency services, facilities maintenance, and security, properties, accounting, grants, construction, development, and administration functions of both County airports; manages lease policies and procedures; provides direction and supervision to technical staff; consults with legal counsel; acts for the Director of Airports in the latter's absence

The Deputy Director Airports is an At-Will classification that is exempt from the provisions of the Civil Service Ordinance.
