Description:
This is the most advanced level of the Dental Office Assistant series of job responsibilities. In addition to providing first contact point for all patients and visitors to the organization and to facilitate effective patient flow, this individual has broadened responsibilities in the areas of PHI, ROI, insurance verification, prior authorizations, cost estimates, referrals and follow up, scanning, and front desk coverage. Provides support to the dental outreach and dental child and adolescent health care (CAHC) activities when available and approved by supervisor. In all areas, this individual positively represents the organization and functions as a resource/trainer to all dental office assistant levels. This position functions according to best practices in the field and reflecting the mission and vision of Family Health Care.
Qualifications: Excellent communication and organizational skills. Must pay attention to detail. Experience in money handling, scheduling, and data entry is desired. Minimum high school diploma.
