Sterling Personnel, Inc. is recruiting for a Daycare Director for our client, an early childhood center, in the Corpus Christi, TX area. The Daycare Director will oversee classroom lesson plans, conduct new staff orientation, and will oversee multiple records. This is a full time, temp to hire position with hours expected to be Monday through Friday 8am-5pm.

The ideal candidate will be a go getter, strong multitasker, and enjoy new challenges.

Daycare Director Responsibilities:

• Conduct new staff orientation and evaluations
• Promotes a safe, nurturing, healthy, positive, caring environment
• Coordinate trainings
• Collect payments
• Review classroom lesson plans
• Filing documents electronically
• Reviewing records for accuracy
• Adhere to regulations and licensing
• Prepare work schedules for staff
• Coordinate parent meetings
• Creating correspondence using designated templates
• Performing other duties as assigned

Daycare Director Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in early childhood or related field
• At least 3 years of experience working in a childcare center
• Director’s certificate required
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Supervisory or management experience required
• Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite
• Grant writing skills preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
