Warehouse Pay: ***BRAND NEW STARTING WAGE*** $19.15 to start, then after 90 days $20.18

***Plus $1.00/hour Shift Differential***

Job Summary - Warehouse: Fills orders, counts, and physically load/unload product on incoming/outgoing trailers according to the shipping schedule. Position requires demonstration of competency, ability to learn, understand instruction, use shipping tools, utilize computers and basic software implementation, for the purposes of all Shipping and Distribution processes within the Shipping department.

Essential Functions for Shipping Helper:

• Ensures that product received from production or other plants is correct and recorded into the PC Data System.
• Loads and unloads to appropriate distribution area to ensure that shipping schedules are met.
• Train on the PC Data system and proficiently be able to operate, print, and troubleshoot daily.
• Practices and complies with all Company policies and procedures (EE), Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, safety rules, work rules, etc.).
• Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maneuver product configurations that could weigh up to 380+ pounds without accommodations safely and proficiently.
• Must be able to meet customers’ deadlines on delivery which requires all sorting to be completed by a required time. This must be done daily and independently.
• Responsible for reporting food safety issues.
• Slack and Code (date tagging) finished and frozen product.
• Perform other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other operating rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a clean work area

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• High school or equivalent preferred.
• Good communication skills, solid basic math.
• Accuracy, organizational skills, attention to detail, flexibility, adaptability to change.
• Professionalism, accountability, ability to self-motivate, strong teamwork and initiative.
• Adhere to all safe work standards including bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, and kneeling, squatting, twisting, turning, walking and standing for long periods of time.
• Basic power, hand tool, computer and software systems knowledge.
• Forklift and electric pallet jack certification a plus.
• Ability to communicate and understand instructions in English.

Working Conditions/Physical Factors:

• Approximately: Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing & pulling up to 380 lbs. – 75%. Sorting- 10% Paperwork- 5%, Computer-10%.
• Available for a schedule that consists of 10-hour workdays, split days off, some holidays, and occasional overtime.
• Position requires standing for long periods of the shift and consistent bending and stooping.
• At times there could be exposure to the plant bakery environment and associated exposure to heat up to and above (100 degrees), also exposure to extreme cold (0 degrees) and below depending on the season and task.

Other Duties Assigned

Assist drivers with loading and unloading trucks.

Stage product according to order deliveries or pickups.

Box, bag, label, stack, tray, palletize and wrap pallets of finished and frozen products.

Corrugated recycling and bailing.

Compacting product.
