The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The starting salary range represents the College’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Job Summary
In support of the Polk County Healthcare Collaborative’s workforce development goals, design and implement communication and marketing strategies promoting education and careers in healthcare. Manage project data tools and strategies and provide regular reports to partners. Works collaboratively with Polk County Healthcare Collaborative educational and healthcare partners including DMACC, Des Moines University, Grand View University, Mercy College of Health Sciences, MercyOne, UnityPoint Health, and Broadlawns Hospital.

Essential Functions
Plan, direct, and execute a comprehensive marketing plan for the Polk County Healthcare Collaborative, including logistics, budgeting, scheduling, advertising, and promotion. Assist in the identification of outreach and recruitment opportunities. Manage related data, analytics, and related reporting.
Development of program recruitment materials, including print, video, and other media and ensure that publications are produced in a timely and accurate manner by working closely with marketing personnel from collaborative partner organizations.
Collaborate with healthcare organizations and post-secondary partners, the workforce system, and other community organizations to develop a comprehensive employment and career website for the healthcare sector. Work with partners to develop a data driven recruitment and referral process.
Support recruitment efforts and the development and implementation of existing and future initiatives regarding healthcare workforce, with a focus on working with our healthcare partners to help plan and develop and facilitate exploration and educational experiences.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or related area.
Three years of experience in marketing or a related field.
Demonstrated proficiency in marketing consulting, event planning, and logistics.
Experience developing and launching websites.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to plan, organize and manage time.
Experience with data management systems and producing high quality reports.
A demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from diverse backgrounds.
Knowledge of current software applications relevant to the position.
Valid driver’s license.

Desired Qualifications
Master’s degree
Marketing experience related to healthcare.
Experience in post-secondary education.
