The Task At Hand: The Data Analyst, E-commerce and DTC reports directly to the Senior Director, Digital Marketing and E-commerce and plays a critical role in sales forecasting and providing business insights to accelerate profitable growth within our direct-to-consumer channel. This highly cross-functional position will be the go-to for all things data-related for the growing E-commerce channel.
In This Role, You Will:
  • Own the analysis and reporting of key data inputs for our DTC business, including sales, retention, churn, order frequency, etc., monitor ROI of marketing spend, and bring forward insights to aid in the development of programs to drive revenue, loyalty retention and CLTV
  • Provide weekly reporting and insights to support day-to-day business management, including demand planning and forecasting, inventory management, promotions, marketing programs
  • Deliver monthly e-commerce sales and revenue forecast along with SKU-level demand forecast leveraging historical trends and marketing spend and activity to ensure accuracy
  • Perform ongoing customer segmentation analysis to understand better the most loyal and at-risk customers to aid in developing programs to address relevant cohorts and to define acquisition targets for prospecting and maximizing RFM
  • Deep dive into the DTC portfolio to understand product interactions and ongoing trends to inform opportunities for cross-selling incrementality, SKU rationalization, product inventory gaps, and or pricing optimization opportunities
  • Partner with the digital team to help optimize marketing efficiency and effectiveness, including analyzing A/B testing results across channels to drive customer conversion and retention
  • Ensure ongoing data integrity and data security; works to continuously optimize tools and processes for efficiency; document business requirements, processes, and data mapping for stakeholders
  • Publish regular KPI dashboards and reports to executive leadership and the Board of Directors
Must Haves:
  • One to three years of professional experience as a business or sales analyst or in a role conducting forecasting, sales reporting, marketing mix modeling, data modeling
  • Experience in a direct-to-consumer e-commerce business, ideally experience with a subscription business within the CPG or the food and beverage retail industry
  • Degree in Business, Data Science, Information Systems, or Statistics with related work experience, or equivalent years of professional experience preferred
  • Knowledge of data warehouse fundamentals and development
  • Advance knowledge of SQL or similar querying language, ELT and ETL tools, Google Analytics, media metrics and reporting tools, marketing attribution models, data visualization tools
  • Experience modeling disparate data sets and visualizing data with the ability to convey meaningful and accurate insights
  • Understanding of or strong aptitude to learn digital media metrics, including CPM, CPC, CPA, CAC, CVR, ROAS, CLTV, and all marketing levers to drive a DTC business
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and superior attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment and the ability to adapt to evolving priorities and business needs
  • Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely; strong presentation skills
Compensation:
  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a few factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses, stipends, equity, and role-specific perks.
