Job Summary:

As a Data Analyst, you will be cleaning, analyzing, interpreting, and displaying data using different approaches, such as dashboards and reports. You are someone who has the knowledge and skills to turn raw data into information, insight, and easy to understand reports, which can be used to make business decisions. Responsible for organizing data related to the following areas: Sales history, inventory, manufacturing, purchasing, shipping/receiving, production control and other operational areas.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Working with management on their data & reporting needs

· Providing information, reports, and suggestions to management

· Extracting data from ERP system and other sources

· Developing and maintaining databases, data systems – organizing data in a readable format

· Preparing reports for management, stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data

· Working with various department heads and management to identify process improvement opportunities and propose system modifications

· Preparing analysis reports for stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to make important decisions based on various facts and trends

· Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting patterns and trends with complex data sets that could be helpful for diagnosis and prediction

· Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data

· Ensuring all safety procedures/processes are always followed; all safety issues should be reported to your immediate manager and Safety Officer

· Performing other related duties as assigned

· Maintaining compliance with company policies

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient with ERP systems, experience with SysPro a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• SQL and Microsoft Power BI skills a plus
• Excellent written, organizational, verbal and communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Capability to analyze and manipulate data/information, and come up with actionable solutions
• Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
• Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data

• Solid understanding of BOMs (Bills of materials)
• Knowledge of how to create and apply accurate algorithms to datasets to find solutions

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Degree in business administration or a related field required, experience considered in lieu of degree
• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum 3 years of experience using an ERP system
• Minimum 5 years of data analyst experience
• Minimum 1 year oilfield related experience

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting in front of a computer or standing
• Must wear safety gloves, ear and eye protection, safety shoes, as required, when in the shop. Other protective gear as directed
