Main Responsibilities:

The IT Cyber Security & Assurance (CS&A) Operations Network Security Engineer provides expertise on information systems security, purpose, plan and implementation and maintenance of security defenses that provide the best protection and value for the organization. Assists with the creation of security architecture and implementation artifacts that fully integrate with Business, information technology initiatives and objectives.

This individual is responsible for developing, articulating, and implementing knowledge in a holistic manner, across multiple mission-critical categories and domains of Cyber Security.

  • Provide leadership in Kimberly-Clark’s infosec edge solutions like firewall WAF, DDoS.
  • Manage security vendors to ensure that service delivery and meet performance and business objectives.
  • Be part of a strong SME’s team.
  • Good understanding of Routing and Switching concepts.
  • Provide support to project teams on security deployments.
  • Suggest design HLD, LLD.
  • Automation and improvement of processes.
  • Pro-actively review and maintain security infrastructure.
  • Responding to emergency situations and performing effective troubleshooting during critical escalated incidents & production outages.

Key Technical Skills:

  • Expertise using Palo Alto firewall, Zscaler ZIA, ZPA & Cloudflare WAF.
  • Good knowledge of SIEM tool Splunk and others.
  • Able to program and use automation and scripting tools.
  • Networking topologies and protocols. Examples being MPLS, VRF, SIP, Traffic Shaping / QoS.
  • Expert skills in Panorama.
  • Knowledge of cloud like Azure, GCP, AWS will be an added advantage
  • Incident response experience.
  • Strong knowledge on complex proxy solution designs which include SSL interception and content analysis.
  • Working with HTTP/S, SSL, SAML, SCIM, ADFS and proxy automatic configuration (PAC) files.
  • Network/Firewall knowledge including reading traces from various network diagnostic tools (i.e., WireShark, Fiddler etc.).

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of IT Security experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in the field of Firewall, VPN, WAF and Proxy.
  • Good technical understating of IT infrastructure and SW applications.
  • Able to engage other teams and managers within the organization.
  • Great verbal and communication skills.
  • Produce high quality deliverables in terms of both content and presentation. Examples of deliverables include reports, presentations.
  • Carries out assignments and projects, alone or as part of a team, applying knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Administration of the Palo Alto Firewall & Zscaler which includes configuring policies. Suggest, schedule, and conduct hardware and software enhancements, upgrades, reconfigurations, and patches.
  • working experience with GRE Tunnels, IPSec Tunnels, NATting, PAC file Logic.
  • Ability to independently research and solve technical issues.
  • Good to have knowledge on API, IAM, NAC, Cloud, DLP, SSO, PKI, Gateway, etc.
  • Demonstrated integrity in a professional environment.
  • Knowledge of core Information Security concepts related to Governance, Risk & Compliance.
  • Excellent teaming, good social, communication and technical writing skills.
