On November 1, 2020, Dominion Energy sold its gas transmission and storage business to Berkshire Hathaway Energy. Job Summary

BHE GT&S has an exciting opportunity in our Transportation Services group for a Customer Transportation Rep I.

  • Performs activities to reconcile, review and monitor the activities required to ensure the company's obligation to transport natural gas in the pipeline is performed in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.
  • Perform entry level transactions and develop to handle moderately complex transactions. Transactions include the processing of nominations through confirmation and scheduling while following rules and requirements.
  • Reconciling imbalances and pooling points.
  • Provide information in a timely manner to allow for any necessary reconciliation.
  • Work with customers and less experienced employees to explain company policies, practices, tariff provisions and transportation procedures.
  • Assist in customer problem resolution, monitor customer activities, and ensure compliance with tariff provision.
  • Maintain necessary documentation of gas receipt and transportation activity and prepare reports as required.
  • In time of system stress, assist with tasks as required.
  • This role participates in select functions at an entry level.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:

  • 0-2 years relevant experience
  • Ability to operate personal computer, including data analysis
  • Ability to define problems, collect data and draw conclusions
  • Ability to communicate effectively, establish rapport and speak persuasively
  • Ability to negotiate problem solutions
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently

Education Requirements

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

Bachelor

Preferred Discipline(s): Business Administration, Statistics

Other disciplines may be substituted for the preferred discipline(s) listed above.

Office Work Environment 76 -100%
Travel Up to 25%

May be required to work overtime. Requires working under stressful conditions.
