Position is a 0800-2000 Rotating schedule

Position Summary:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for professional and courteous phone interaction with customers. Expeditiously answering all calls for service by determining the proper level of care, answering inquiries, resolving problems, fulfilling requests, confirming pick-ups.

Ensuring that all customers feel valued.

Responsibilities: (Essential Job Functions)

Answers incoming customer calls and understand their needs by asking a series of specific questions; to further clarify obtaining additional information

Resolves problems by clarifying issues, researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions, implementing solutions and escalating unresolved problems.

Calls clients to confirm scheduled pick -ups; cancels or adjusts as needed.

Performs other related activities as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements: Education/ Experience:

High School diploma or GED required.

Knowledge:

Superior Customer Service Acumen

Computer Proficiency

Medical Terminology/Medical Transportation preferred

Working knowledge of Microsoft Word Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Ability Requirements

The nature of this position is sedentary. It does require the ability to perform general office duties including but not limited to filing, using a computer/fax/phone. Ability to trouble shoot various situations and prioritize. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, co-workers, supervisors, and the general public. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
