Newaygo County Mental Health is seeking a Full Time Custodian. The Custodian is responsible for performing a broad array of day-to-day office and building cleaning duties in order to keep building in a clean and orderly condition. Duties include dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms and emptying trash receptacles. Additional duties will rotate based on season. The Custodian will report needs and concerns to appropriate staff, which many include submitting or recommending work orders and checking and reporting supply levels. This position will work together with other staff to assist in training clients for future employment.

This position will work between the hours of 2:30pm – 11:00pm; Monday through Friday.

Successful candidates must be able to read and write, communicate effectively with internal and external customers, organize, file and retrieve office paperwork. Have the ability to manage a variety of duties simultaneously and complete by required deadlines. Additionally, the staff must exercise independent decision-making and work effectively in a team-based environment.

A valid Michigan driver's license, reliable transportation and ability to pass extensive background checks is required.

The salary range is $28,577 – $40,843, based on experience, with excellent benefits.
