JOB DESCRIPTION:

Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Temp - Post Production Coordinator to join the Creative Services team based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters. Marc Jacobs International is part of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) fashion division and operates in the wholesale and direct-to-consumer retail markets.

This individual will be responsible for producing, creating, and managing integrated content for the global brand including Marc Jacobs.com, Heaven by Marc Jacobs.com, social platforms, paid media, advertising, PR and print collateral. The role will be heavily administrative with the opportunity to grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Organize and track post-production assets from all photoshoots for retouching and editing, and final asset delivery
  • Assist in maintaining post-production schedules to ensure all image releases meet delivery dates
  • Own communication with creative partners on the delivery schedule, editing feedback, usage terms, and final formats
  • Route projects to key stakeholders to collect feedback and approvals
  • Create retouching briefs
  • Track projects while in the production phase and communicate progress to key stakeholders
  • Ensure completion, quality assurance, and delivery of images and assets
  • Catalog digital assets and assign appropriate descriptive metadata to ensure accurate search and usage
  • Distribute assets to key partners and third-party vendors
  • Troubleshoot live site asset issues

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to think strategically and creatively
  • Experience in post-production and partnering with creatives/designers
  • Strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Bridge, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and Google Sheets
  • Proficient in Global Edit and Airtable
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, while juggling multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively across a highly cross-functional and fast-paced environment
  • Must have strong follow-up/follow-through skills
  • Proactive work ethic
  • Positive attitude with a desire to excel in a team-oriented culture and is open to feedback
  • In compliance with the Order of New York City’s Commissioner of Health and Mental Hygiene to Require COVID-19 Vaccination in the Workplace, candidates will need to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination by their first day of employment.

Born in NYC in 1963, Marc Jacobs graduated from Parsons School of Design, where he was the youngest designer ever to receive the CFDA's Perry Ellis Award for New Fashion Talent. Since then, he's spearheaded countless successful ready-to-wear, handbag, fragrance, cosmetics & book launches.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

The compensation for this position ranges from $25 to $30 (hourly). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
