Job Position: Corporate Sales and Business Development Manager

Position Description

This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual who enjoys being empowered to develop and drive strategy; navigating existing business relationships and cultivating new ones; and being responsible for growth.

Key areas of sales responsibilities: meetings and events, group business, target accounts that book extended stay guests and business-to-business partnerships.

Organizational Role

This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President. In addition to working with the corporate team, this role requires regular interaction with each property General Manager.

Role and Responsibilities

· Seek and analyze new clients, accounts, and markets to bring lifestyle extended stay, travelling professionals to our RV resorts.

· Maintain good relationships with current group clients and seek new ones

· Oversee the meetings and event sales of both Emerald Desert and Golden Village Palms RV Resorts

· Strategize with home office team and operations teams to maximize ADR and group spend

· Work with the Marketing department to provide representation at trade shows, conventions, and industry events

· Travel to different properties to meet with operations teams and clients.

· Collaborate and partner effectively with internal stakeholders such as senior management, operations, marketing, to develop and execute business development and growth strategies.

· Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.

· Spearhead the Ambassador and Loyalty Rewards program

· Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree from an accredited University in Marketing or related major. Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.

· 3+ years of experience in full service hotel sales & marketing leadership role.

· Strong computer literacy skills and understanding of Delphi or Envision Sales systems.

· Ability to negotiate, prioritize, and multi-task.

· Exceptional leadership qualities and communication skills.

· Results-oriented team player with a high level of integrity and accountability.

· Flexible work schedule is a must to participate in trade shows, conventions and promotional events with the RV industry and customer organizations
