National award-winning Home Builder, William Ryan Homes, is looking for a Corporate Architectural Specialist in the Dallas Division to join the team in exponentially growing the Company in the Texas Market.
This position is responsible for assisting the Corp. Architect in maintaining the quality and accuracy of all Division plan drawings, detailed construction drawings, details, and organization and upkeep of company-wide architectural information and reports. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist Corp. Architect to manage the process of updating and maintaining existing and new Division Master plan drawings including standard details as well as any new as directed.
- Assist Corp. Architect to ensure that all Division base plans are drawn in accordance with local building codes and ordinances.
- Assist Corp Architect to Develop and maintain a Divisional CAD database of plans using consistent objects and styles.
- Assist Corporate Architect in researching and planning for changing developments in CAD
- Maintain architectural data for the company as required.
Core Competencies/Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently.
- Advanced technology skills, including Microsoft 365 Suites, Windows 10+
- Ability to read and comprehend detailed construction blueprints, specifications, and detailed development drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail including the ability to organize large amounts of data and files as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- AutoCAD Architecture 2019-2023 proficiency. Ability to manage software settings and troubleshoot/ manipulate technical aspects of AutoCAD software.
- SketchUp modeling software is a plus.
- Ability and desire to learn new CAD applications and software.
