We are currently working with one of the largest private builders in the Colorado Springs area to find a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead their Accounting and Finance Department.

This position oversees a staff of 3 and includes competitive salary, incentives, and full benefits.

The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for all areas relating to financial reporting including overseeing the day to day operations of the Accounting Department in their production of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. With a solid understanding of GAAP Accounting and Unit Cost Accounting, this integral manager maintains and implements necessary controls in operations, policies, and processes for optimal efficiency and risk avoidance for the company.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 4 years of experience in Public Accounting or an equivalent role, is detail-oriented, precisely organized, and possesses strong leadership and communication skills. Experience in the construction industry would be valuable.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
• Drive efficiencies in the collection and analysis of company data for management.
• Manage daily cash position and optimize lines of credit.
• Oversee payroll and benefits functions.
• Assigns, monitors, and analyzes department work to develop optimal efficiency
• Supports budget and forecasting activities.
• Prepares work papers and oversees compliance of government tax/municipal filings and reporting.
• Participate as a member in the Management Committee.
• Works with Division management and IS to ensure consistent reporting practices.
• Work closely with Controller and CFO.
• Other duties as needed for success.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
