Must-haves to apply for this job:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Knowledge of automated accounting systems
What this job is all about:
The Corporate Accountant is a critical role on our accounting and finance team and is responsible for proper recording of financial transactions, assisting in preparing the financial statements within designated parameters, assisting with performing financial analysis on selected business scenarios, participating in financial budgeting and planning process, and administering tax-related filings.
In this job, you’ll do things like:
- Complete monthly and annual closing of designated financial records
- Monitor and verify the accuracy of data from integrated feeder systems
- Perform account analysis to verify accuracy of accounting records
- Monitor and manage CIP projects and fixed asset database
- Assist with approval of transactions in T&E reimbursement system: assist with annual external audit: assist with tax reporting compliance (sales taxes, VAT taxes, 1099 compliance)
