We are looking for an experienced cook with a passion for pizza and pub food.. Our ideal candidate will have two or more years experience in pizza/restaurant kitchens. If you are eager to be part of a cohesive team, then this position is for you.

Candidates will play an active role in executing our menu for the guests. You will work amongst a growing and dedicated team. State of Mind offers the opportunity to develop your kitchen production and pizza techniques while being accountable for cleanliness, food and equipment safety knowledge.

Applicants must possess a strong sense of urgency, direct communication skills, and an ability to work well with minor supervision.

Job duties include but are not limited to :

• Dough making
• Prep work
• Shaping and baking pizzas
• Managing ovens
• Working the hot line
• Keeping your workspace clean and organized
• Setup and/or breakdown of the kitchen
• Communicating well with supervisors, GM and ownership team

State of Mind is an award winning family owned pizzeria and public house that opened its first location in Los Altos in 2018. We make our pizza with slow proofed dough, California cheese, and organic Bianco Dinapoli tomato sauce. However, we aren’t just a pizzeria; We have a diverse menu with plates to share, fresh salads, sandwiches, and wings. Our food is from scratch, highlighting local and seasonal ingredients. This is how we eat as a family and we want to share it with the community.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
