Availability: Full Time / Part Time

If you or someone you know has at least 1+ year cooking experience in a fast casual or full service kitchen/dining room and are interested in joining a rockstar crew? Then Maple Springs is eager to hear from you!

Do you want to enjoy a cooking position with no late nights and a flexible schedule?

We are looking for skilled cooks to prepare delicious meals according to the menu. You will cook dishes that will delight our residents with their taste and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Ability to set up and work safely/efficiently around others throughout the shift.
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, seasoning/cutting various proteins & seafood, etc.)
• Prepare A la Carte items to order alongside daily specials.
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are labeled & stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Monitor stock and communicate shortages to the Chef or direct supervisor.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Physical endurance to stand for hours at a time.
• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Works well as part of team and/or individual tasks.
• Safe & reliable mode of transportation to maintain proper and consistent attendance.
• Able to work early mornings early evenings and/or weekends.
• Able to pass a background check
• Ability to read & write legibly.

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• 3+ years cooking
• Employer will cover the cost of M.O.A. Food Handlers card.

Full benefits package offered after a 90 day probationary period.
