Position Title: Convention Production Freelancer

Compensation Range: $1,200 - $1,500 / weekly

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Duration: May 2023 – August 2023 (approx. 17weeks)

Position Overview: CJ ENM America is looking for a convention production freelancer to join our team. The freelancer will focus on all parts of the event production.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Convention Manager in planning and organizing all aspects of event production from development stages through onsite management and event wrap-up.
  • Facilitate and coordinate all aspects related to production with convention exhibitors from pre to post event and onsite management, including sampling exhibitors and their management.
  • Fulfill day-to-day communication with key stakeholders including but not limited to HQ, partners, agencies, vendors, and venues for successful event organization and execution.
  • Generate and maintain updates for project documents including but not limited to schedules and budgets.
  • Handle various duties as assigned and needed

Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • 2-5 years of experience in the field or industry, preferably in live events and conventions
  • Bilingual in Korean and English is a must
  • Must be willing and able to travel and work on weekends.
  • Must be flexible, motivated, and highly collaborative, this role will need a self-starter who can roll up their sleeves and get things done.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
