Role Summary:
As a Contracts Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the processing, implementation, tracking, and completion of assigned customer contracts. You will facilitate all phases of contract administration and be the process owner on contract matters, including flow-downs, compliance, and government regulations. A successful Contracts Specialist is detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and excellent communication who can effectively operate in a fast-paced, team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Accurately input contracts and collaborate with both inside and outside customers on contract details
- Maintain knowledge of the contract life cycle, types of contracts, and applicable government regulations
- Interpret contract terms and conditions, including FARS and DFARS requirements
- Communicate accurate delivery information and take action when deliveries are not on track
- Partner with other business groups to make business decisions on contract requirements
- Administrative duties and support to the organization as needed
Requirements:
- Prior contracts experience in an AS9120 or ISO 9001 organization highly desired
- Previous exposure to FAR, DFAR, ITAR, and other government requirements
- Professional level verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail is required
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Driven to see tasks and projects to completion
- 2+ years of contracts experience a plus
