The Contract Pricing Specialist supports the Business Manager and Districts with preparation and administration of RFP's, contracts, contract modifications, and other agreements. This includes providing analysis, background information, organizing, maintaining, and managing relevant reporting data. This includes but not limited to implementing contracts, notification of extensions and renewals, and processing of pricing exceptions, credits, and deductions. Under direction of the Business Manager, it collaborates with sales management, corporate accounts, pricing department and customers. Strong and effective communication, coordination and strong analytic skills will be key to ensuring efficient implementation of a high volume of work.

Position Function

  • Preparation and administration of RFP's, contracts, contract modifications, and other agreements. This includes contract expiration on a monthly basis and PFED performed quarterly.
  • Builds financial models for impact analysis and conducts trend analysis for targets in region and segments. Performs data gathering, reporting and analysis to support overall company pricing strategies.
  • Prepares quotes, processes bulk buy orders and assist with various pricing programs
  • Regional review of price adjustments and action accordingly, understanding how each pricing scenario will impact the business.
  • Responsible for specialized reporting tasks that will be distributed across the country as well as other administrative tasks as directed by Business Manager.
  • Understand and learn the overall Customer Care organization and processes to provide support as needed; drive process excellence and efficiencies.

Location: US Field - must be willing to work west coast hours

Education: Bachelors Degree or 5+ years of industry experience

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting sales teams preferred

Competencies:

  • Demonstrate the ability to successfully work independently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; excel
  • Detail oriented with superior reading comprehension skills and a dedication to accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Responds to complex questions, receives and/or shares information with peers, cross-functional groups, and senior management inside and outside of the department.
  • Works on problems with moderate complexity and impact.
  • Applies knowledge and experience to create procedures and receives minimal guidance for routine tasks.
  • May exercise judgment with limited defined procedure or practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
