The Contract Administrator serves as Tektronix Component Solutions’ point of contact for all matters relating to the entire contract lifecycle from RFP to Contract Closeout. This individual is responsible for ensuring customer purchase orders align with the proposal scope, pricing, terms and conditions and technical requirements. They have the responsibility to interface, negotiate contract price and terms and conditions with the customer. In addition, this individual will communicate these terms to functional departments (e.g. manufacturing operations, engineering and test). Effectively team with cross-functional groups to ensure overall customer contract compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide contractual advice and counsel to company management at all levels as the need arises;

Demonstrate working contracting knowledge in areas such as FAR/DFARS regulations, various

Develop relevant company policies and procedures that reflect a working understanding of and compliance to the US Government Acquisition and Procurement process, Tektronix processes, commercial contracting methods, and other applicable government regulations;

Participate in proposal/quote development efforts, interpretation and explanation of present and potential contractual obligations and responsibilities and highlighting areas of concern and risk contained in the Contract and Terms & Conditions;

Prepare and submit proposal and quote responses, including transmittal letters;

Lead contract strategy discussions to assess and protect the company’s interests and risk management strategies with the support of the Business Manager or Proposal Manager;

Develop / maintain support files, logs, contract files and other company documentation;

Complete Contract Change Notices and other letters as appropriate with support from the Program Manager, Engineering and Test teams;

Support other Contract related activities as assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field

7+ years of professional experience with Government Contracts including a proven understanding of the FAR/DFARs

Consistent track record of negotiating large, complex contracts of varying types

Working knowledge of UCC and contract law

Strong written and verbal communication skill and ability to optimally team in a cross-functional setting

This position's primary/essential functions are subject to U.S. Government ITAR compliance requirements under current government contracts. Therefore, all employees in this position must be either: 1) a U.S. citizen, permanent resident (green card holder) or refugee/asylee or 2) must be willing to allow or cooperate with the company in applying for a U.S. government license, if necessary. National: The salary range for this position is $65,900- $122,500

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
