Job DescriptionJob Summary
The Protection Services Operations Center (PSOC) Consultant aids in the safety and security of persons and property by monitoring multiple security systems and physical security functions, detecting and assessing threats, responding to alarms and reporting incidents. The PSOC Consultant also uses a variety of tools such as access control systems, alarm monitoring systems, video monitoring systems and threat intelligence systems. The PSOC Consultant is also the primary administrator for Molina’s visitor management system.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Conduct research using open source, vendor tools, and social media to provide analysis on geopolitical and private sector intelligence.
Coordinate annual security site risk assessments to ensure compliance. Provide reports to PSOC management and Physical Security Director ensuring risks are identified and escalated. Provide support for remediation of identified risks or issues.
Respond to incidents, alarms, notifications, emails, and calls for service and support in a professional and customer-friendly manner
Manage alarm, communications, reporting, video management, and access control functions across all locations using a variety of software programs
Monitor physical security systems, responding to and/or coordinating responses to safety and security issues at the facility as appropriate with minimal supervisory oversight
Dispatch security personnel to respond to incidents. Coordinate and issue alerts (i.e., BOLO)
Facilitate and coordinate information exchange during emergencies
Prepare written reports for distribution and compliance purposes
Administer and maintain primary security systems, including sentinel security surveillance, access control, visitor management and intrusion systems
Troubleshoot mechanical and security system errors as they arise, seeking assistance as needed
Perform various administrative tasks or special projects as assigned
Maintain knowledge of PSOC-specific standard operating procedures, post orders, and other related protocols.
Maintain roster of location-specific physical security contacts. Develop, enhance and improve physical security liaison network across Molina locations. Ensure annual compliance requirements are achieved at each location and employees receive annual training

Job Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of corporate business experience in physical security operations
Required Experience:
Minimum 3 years demonstrated leadership in programs at a national or enterprise level
Minimum 3 years’ experience across physical security services and/or operation
Minimum 2 years’ experience with project management
Minimum 1 year experience with Envoy platform
LenelOnGuard, Avigilon, Bosch, SafetyConnect, RiskBand, Envoy and PPM experience preferred

The candidate should have a strong grasp and hands-on experience in physical security. Experience in an operations center preferred
Situational awareness and responding to incidents involving employee and property threats
Creation of metrics, reporting and analysis
Familiarity with best practices and standards
Experience with industry standard tools and concepts
