The Redwoods Group is currently seeking a full-time
Consultant
to join our team to help us achieve our vision of creating safe communities for all through mission-aligned insurance.
Job Description:
What you will do:
- Encouraging a positive team environment and embodying Redwoods’ collaborative culture within the Consulting team and across departments
- Developing and implementing clear work plans for movements, customers, brokers and Redwoods to come together to address opportunities for learning and improvement based on industry best practices, internal claims & customer data, and observed customer practices
- Building and managing meaningful strategic relationships with customer and movement senior and executive staff members as it pertains to culture and safety protocol
- Creating clear deliverables and timelines while promoting and demonstrating accountability
- Engaging with partners about all of Redwoods’ business lines to encourage and establish a comprehensive Redwoods relationship
- Representing Redwoods at national, regional, and state-level meetings and conferences, and in regular communication with customers and stakeholders via phone, email, or Zoom
- Investing time in continuing training and education to improve and expand Consulting expertise
- Participating in new business acquisition programs, calls, and visits when requested
What you will bring to C&F:
Minimum 3 years of experience leading complex projects, ideally in a customer-facing role- Mission-driven professional who believes in the ability to use business as a force for social good
- Unwavering personal code of ethics, integrity, diversity and trust
- Working knowledge of risk management across all lines and partner groups
- Ability to interact regularly and build meaningful relationships with CEOs and other executive staff members of client organizations and regional/national movement stakeholders
- Ability to develop expert understanding of how to use Consulting tools to support our clients
- Advanced communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Has knowledge and expertise in youth-serving severity issues like Abuse Prevention, Aquatics, Transportation and Elevation Risk (high ropes, zip lines, etc)
- Willing to travel and carry out strategic and difficult conversations with customers and movement leaders about the importance of safety and a culture of safety
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. We will consider a remote position for the right candidate, but with required periodic travel to our Research Triangle office in addition to customer-facing travel.
