Overview:
The Project Manager (PM) oversees the project lifecycle and field operations. S/he will be responsible for overseeing project execution and ensuring project completion on time and within budget.
Responsibilities:
  • Receives project information/scope from Sales and establishes project timelines.
  • Allocates resources across project sites.
  • Understands need requirements based on job tasks to help prioritize and effectively fill positions.
  • Responsible for management of time reporting process.
  • Manage customer purchase order progression to assure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Responsible for internal and customer project reporting as needed.
  • Assist in defining the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Act as customer liaison for project progress and help to develop future business opportunities.
  • Support sales efforts as a technical expert in the industry.
  • Act as a leader within the company.
  • Support operations.
  • Support growth of training programs and report documentation.
  • Technical assistance in the field (hands on) may be required on occasion.
  • Responsible for training (technical and administrative) of the Technician team.
  • Enforces safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Acts as a safety role model and understands behavioral based safety.
  • Understands the technical and practical aspects of the job and helps to ensure safe work practices are being followed.
  • Using engineering judgment and data to make sound business decisions.
  • Engages cross functional groups throughout decision process to gather information and gain consensus. Works closely with business unit and general manager for planning and emergent needs identification.
  • Understands construction and wireless technology and basic work practices to help drive efficient cost team models that drive customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the technical screening of candidates as needed.
  • Responsible for performing site audits to assure assess technical development and to address any on-site concerns.
  • Managing job costing process.
  • Manage project timelines, KPI’s and stakeholders.
  • Manage vendors and subcontractors
  • Work with customers to ensure successful project kickoff and completion.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 5 yrs. experience working in the wireless industry
  • 2-3 years of experience with project management and/or construction management
  • The ability to read drawings and specifications
  • Experience installing structural modifications on self-support towers and monopoles strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines on time and within budget
  • The ability to travel 75%within the region
  • Experience working with project management software, preferably QuickBase
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
