We are looking to add to our team in our Field Crew in Minnesota!

Structural Buildings of MN, Inc. has been constructing dreams throughout Minnesota and the surrounding 5 State area since 1985. At Structural Buildings we design and construct a wide array of building types from post-frame, steel-frame, masonry, stud wall frame, SIP panel, and tilt-up concrete; ensuring our ability to provide the best type of building to meet all our customer’s needs.

We are seeking Construction Crew Foreman as an active member of our team to construct quality building projects that are profitable and provide a positive experience for the customer. This position plays an important role in helping the construction team promote and provide a positive attitude, set and meet goals and achieve company objectives.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and supervise the activities of crewman in construction needs for all phases of the project.

Inspects blueprints and material lists to ensure all aspects of the project are understood and can be executed.

Communicate with the Purchasing Department in regard to materials needed or that the special requirements of the customer can be met.

Coordinate scheduling of inspections with Field Superintendent and building officials.

Assess the fastest and easiest way to complete a job without sacrificing the quality of the work being done.

Coordinates with the Field Superintendent to ensure job is finished in a timely manner.

Lead by example in creating a safe, organized work environment. Follow all current OSHA and Company guidelines and procedures.

Ensures crew members, including new hires, are fully trained and follow all safety and construction procedures set by Structural Buildings

Performs and promotes safe and proper use and maintenance of all tools and equipment.

Understands and enforces all company safety policies and procedures.

Make sure the job site is kept in a clean and orderly manner

Must excel at problem solving and customer service.

Manage the care of equipment and crew truck, keeping the rig clean and organized as well as properly stocked with tools and equipment.

Complete accident and incident reports.

Qualifications:

4 years' experience in Building Construction (post-frame) carpentry or framing experience preferred.

Valid MN Driver’s License and current medical card or ability to obtain. **Class A desired**

Capable of working in a physically demanding environment and at various heights (up to 40 feet) from ladders and aerial work platforms primarily working outside.

Willingness to adapt to a flexible work schedule, arriving on time and working your scheduled shift.

Prior leadership in construction.

Ability to operate construction hand tools and other specialized equipment safely and effectively.

Safety Requirements:

Abide by and apply Structural Buildings safety and construction procedures, methods and standards to every building, every day.

Willingness to maintain and operate construction and hand tools in a safe and proper manner.

Capable of working in a physically demanding environment and at various heights (up to 40 feet) from ladders and aerial work platforms.

$25 - $40 per hour BOE.

**Bonus consideration requires a minimum of 2 years Post Frame carpentry experience.
