Maschmeyer Concrete Company of Florida is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Concrete Plant Manager to join our team in the Tampa Bay area.

While striving for continuous improvement, the Concrete Plant Manager will oversee the daily operations of a Ready-Mix plant; including production, inventory levels, and team leadership while ensuring company policies and procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
• Oversee production of quality concrete while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current standards
• Responsible for production output, quality, and on-time ticketing
• Monitor aggregate inventory levels and order as needed
• Recruit, manage and develop plant staff and a team of Delivery Professionals
• Analyze data to improve efficiency and meet KPIs
• Commit to plant safety procedures
• Stay up to date with latest industry best practices

Skills

• Proven work experience as a concrete plant manager
• Proven managerial experience
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise
• Strong computer literacy skills
• Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
