Jacksons is searching for an IT Support Specialist 3 (Implementation Specialist) to join our team! You will use your IT expertise by providing hardware and software support to new and existing Jacksons employees. You will assist in providing set up and use of software systems and equipment, providing escalated support for desktops and laptops, as well as servers and networking equipment. You will help create documentation and policies, maintain consumable hardware inventory, and drive process improvements.

What will I do as an IT Support Specialist 3 (Implementation Specialist)?

Here are just some of the things you will do in this role:

• Provision hardware and install software throughout the life cycle; ordering, tracking, system builds, testing and deployment.
• Track assets and manage inventory. Track warranty period.
• Take ownership of tickets and tasks assigned to the implementation team.
• Escalate concerns or issues to the appropriate team.
• Assist employees with ongoing data or system maintenance.
• Create and provide system or implementation process documentation.
• Suggest feature or functionality changes or enhancements to product management based on client feedback.
• Partner with infrastructure and business application teams to maintain software version control.
• Provide status updates in team meetings including new store and new construction meetings.
• Interact directly with assigned internal employees, maintaining positive relationships.
• Additional duties as assigned.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• 3+ years of experience in hardware deployment at scale.
• 1-3 years of experience with Cloud computing.
• 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft Azure and Intune.
• Previous Tier 2 Deskside Support experience.
• Applied knowledge and use of Microsoft Active Directory management – network administration.
• Experience with PowerShell Scripting and/or automation through software development.
• Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) a plus.
• CompTIA a plus
• Experience communicating effectively and professionally with supervisor, co-workers, and other departments.
• A history of responding actively and sensitively to customer needs and problems.
• Understanding of the job requirements, work environment, and customer needs.
• The ability to complete work with minimal direction.
• The ability to make well-reasoned and timely decisions that favorably affect work performance and customer service.
• Practice in working effectively and efficiently. Well organized. Prioritizes work properly. Makes few errors.

Physical Demand:
Light work: Exerting up to 40 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
