• State RN license
• 2 Government Issued ID (Driver's License, State ID, Social Security or any ID's that shows proof of work eligibility)
• Physical exam and PPD (PPD step 1 and 2)
• Chest X-ray if PPD is positive
• CPR / BLS

Duties 1. Operate head or body x-ray scanners which create a computer generated cross-sectional image, commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan 2. Responsible for educating and preparing patients for their examinations 3. Provide patient care that is essential to the performance of a variety of procedures 4. Take patient medical history before an exam 5. Position patients so desired anatomy will be demonstrated 6. Determine and set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology 7. Assume responsibility for the safety, mental and physical comfort of patients 8. Supervised by a board certified radiologist but afforded a great amount of independence and responsibility Qualifications 1. Able to operate sophisticated computer equipment 2. Strong interest in scientific and technical skill and knowledge 3. Able to interact compassionately and effectively with the sick or injured 4. Able to communicate effectively 5. Able to perform well independently 6. Able to follow detailed instructions 7. Exact and precise 8. Highly self-motivated Title: Radiology: C.T. Technologist Page 2 of 9. High School graduate or equivalent 10. Current BLS 11. Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved school and ability to meet requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) 12.
