Compounding Operator I is an entry level manufacturing role that must adhere and maintain quality standards compliant with current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs). The primary function of this role is to support compounding operations including cleaning, equipment set-up, and compounding. Supports manufacturing operations including compounding, cleaning, and equipment set-up.

• Verify room and equipment used in the compounding process are signed off by QA before starting batch making process
• Verify raw materials are released and quantities verified by QA on Work Instruction Sheet before starting the batch making process
• Verify raw materials measurements and weights for accuracy per the batch record and company SOPs.
• Measure and mix raw materials into finished product according to batch card instructions and SOPs with extreme attention to detail
• Record and document all data and sign off on batch cards in accordance with cGMP’s
• Performs basic maintenance on compounding equipment as needed to maintain good working condition.
• Clean and sanitize all compounding equipment in accordance SOP’s and cGMP’s
• Always maintain a safe and clean work environment as directed and in accordance with approved SOPs and cGMP’s
• Train on assigned operator tasks, maintain cGMP and SOP training, and other training as assigned.
• Execute job duties to the highest level of quality, accuracy, and customer service
• Maintain punctuality and attendance to support the manufacturing schedule
• All other tasks assigned

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Experience: Six months in a manufacturing environment or as equipment operator in a USDA or FDA regulated facility
• Preferred knowledge: Experience pre-weight and compounding work in a USDA or FDA regulated environment
• Other skills:
  • Understand and follow written instructions
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Actively maintain a high level of personal and team safety
  • Expected to be flexible to constant change in a fast-paced environment
  • Frequently stand (100%), perform repetitive manual dexterity, occasionally bend, sit, squat, crawl, walk, and reach above shoulder level (25%).
  • Lift up to 60 lbs. consistently.
  • Able to safely team-lift heavier objects and operate lifting equipment.
