Position Responsibilities:

  • Collecting, validating and recording of HMDA and CRA data on a day-to-day basis,

assisting in the annual reporting of HMDA and CRA data and reviewing loan files to verify data as necessary.

  • Coordinating (across multiple departments/divisions) annual mailing of Privacy Notices ensuring all necessary updates have been applied in accordance with new Privacy laws.
  • Researching bank-wide applications to implement CCPA and present to senior management.
  • Maintaining the Bank’s identity theft red flags policies and procedures and ensuring that changes in laws and regulations that may affect those policies and procedures are incorporated thereto on a timely basis.
  • Coordinating with Enterprise Applications responses to customers who have notified the Bank that they have been subjected to identity theft and prepare analytics for Board level reporting.
  • Ensuring that a log is maintained of all incidents of identity theft either detected by, or reported to, the Bank, noting the affected customer(s), the account(s), the nature of the identity theft, and any remedial measures taken.
  • Researching and remaining knowledgeable on applicable consumer compliance laws, regulations, interpretations and regulatory guidelines, and any changes to HMDA, CRA, Privacy, and identity theft program.
  • Providing assistance to auditors and examiners on all consumer compliance audits and examinations.
  • Training and providing guidance and education to Bank employees on HMDA, CRA, Privacy and ID Theft Red Flags Program.
  • Following up on all HMDA, CRA, Privacy, and ID Theft issues resulting from the compliance reviews, audits or regulatory examinations to ensure they are addressed and corrected.
  • Assisting with any additional compliance issues such as Consumer Complaints and support all areas of the bank with any Compliance questions and updates.
  • Reporting compliance concerns to senior management

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • At least five years of experience in a financial institution environment with both operational and/or compliance experience.
  • Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws and regulations
  • Basic knowledge of functions performed within various departments
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret government regulations and general business periodicals
  • Ability to interact effectively and tactfully with all levels of the Bank
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Efficient mathematical and communication skills
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and the ability to learn HMDA/CRA data collection and reporting software
  • Ability to operate office equipment

Nonessential Skills and Experience:

  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned
