Position description

• Manage the NTN audit based reliability program from start to finish
• Collect, process, and analyze, end user inventory and plant audit data to improve program success
• Conduct audits of end user inventory to identify opportunities for consolidation and product optimization
• Perform audits of end user plant facilities in support of Applications Engineering to identify opportunities for reliability improvements and value proposals (cost savings)
• Generate reports on store and plant audit for presentation to end users and contribute to technical solution proposals within plant audit reports.
• Conduct training at end user sites based on audit findings
• Recommend and implement improvements in the execution of the audit program, data collection, and data analysis processes
• Track and communicate cost savings progress within NTN Corporate Accounts and NTN Distributor groups
• Establish lines of communication with NTN distributor partners to promote information sharing and collaboration critical to the audit program success

Position Requirements

• Project Management – CM will manage multiple cost savings initiatives at once and must ensure cross functional departments are on track to complete projects.
• Relationship management – CM must have the ability to interact with varying levels of management at end user accounts: Maintenance and Reliability directors, Planning, Purchasing, line level techs, etc.
• Analytical thinking – CM role requires ability to analyze large ERP/CMMS data sets to identify areas where NTN can solve customer problems resulting in cost savings. Data analysis and knowledge of mechanical processes are necessities.
• Networking – CM also needs to effectively communicate and network with other peers (compliance managers, for example) through phone calls, emails, and industry events

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or Industrial Engineering is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• 0-3 years’ proficient experience in data management/excel.
• Ability to perform detailed technical analysis of customer applications, offer product recommendations and aid in the design process.
• Travel up to 50% and needs to live in the Chicagoland area.
• The ability to function well in a team environment.
