Overview:
We are actively seeking a Compliance Assistant to be a key member of our Compliance team. Working closely with Compliance and Clinical Documentation and Coding teams, you will provide administrative back office support services to help ensure that our stakeholders have the information and tools they need to provide quality and compliant dermatologic patient care. Join our team and become an integral part of our next phase of growth! This is a hybrid. Must be able to be in the office in Manitowoc, Wisconsin 1-2 days a week.

Responsibilities:


About the Role


The Compliance Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the compliance department, including, but not limited to, support of the documentation and coding review program, Forefront’s Learning Management System and compliance training programs, tracking information for various compliance activities & monitoring, and other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide administrative support for the Clinical Documentation and Coding review program to include maintaining clinician audit schedules, uploading clinical charts into Forefront’s audit management software for review by Coding Review Specialists, and formatting audit reports


  • Assist with administrative management of Forefront’s Learning Management System

  • Annually audit all policies and procedures for review by policy owner and provide status report to operational leaders after review with compliance leadership.


  • Perform exclusion list screenings for Forefront and / or new partnership practice employees and vendors as assigned.


  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in compliance or other healthcare related field
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • A passion to provide world class customer service to all stakeholders
