Strive Staffing has openings for 1st and 2nd shift CNC Machine Operators with a Great Company here in Minneapolis, Overtime is available but not Mandatory.

Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks

 Measure dimensions of finished workpieces to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.

 Listen to machines during operation in order to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and notify appropriate personnel.

 Stop machines to remove finished workpieces, or to change tooling, setup, or workpiece placement, according to required machining sequences.

 Lift workpieces to machines manually, or with hoists or cranes.

 Insert control instructions into machine control units to start operation.

 Responsible for knowing and following all environmental, health and safety rules, policies, and procedures for work area and takes responsibility to assure that personal work activity is conducted in such a way so as to not affect the safety of themselves or others.

Entry Level CNC Operator- temp-to-hire

1st shift: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

2nd shift: 4:30 pm to 3:00 am

** OVERTIME AVAILABLE**

Professional Qualifications:

• Ability to read and write English
• HS Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to be in a manufacturing enviroment for 10 hours.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
