The Operator, CNC Lathe is responsible for set up and operation of 2 Axis and 3 Axis CNC Turning machines.

Essential Functions:

• Set up machines
• Operate CNC turning machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• 3 yrs. of CNC Lathe experience.
• Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions and interact with multiple personality types.

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Ability to read and interpret blue prints. Mechanically inclined with strong math skills. Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates, and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.

Working Conditions/ Physical Demands:

• Typical production conditions including standing for long periods of time (up to 10 hours). Ability to use and clean small tools. Daily lifting of up to 50 lbs. Exposure to machine coolants and oils.
• Ability to problem solve when setting up the machines.
