Job Description:
Davis Behavioral Health, Inc. is currently looking for a positive and energetic candidate that will work as a CNA/Respite Care Manager in a female client's home located in Farmington, Utah as well as a male client's home in Sunset, Utah.
The CNA/Respite Care Manager will work one-on-one with a person with mental illness to provide care, supervision, and companionship while the primary caretaker is away. This job would include the following responsibilities:

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with laundry and other light housework and ADL's
• Assist with Showering, as needed
• Assist with toileting, as needed
• Initiate respite activities with the client
• Ensure the well-being and safety of the client
• Assist with preparing meals

Schedule
The successful candidate will be required to work every Thursday from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm in Farmington and 2-3 additional days from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm in Sunset, Utah. There may be a need for additional assistance beyond these shifts on as as-needed basis.
Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.

Required Experience:

A valid CNA certification is required. Previous experience as a Psych. Tech. working with mentally ill adults may be considered in place of CNA certification.

The CNA/Respite Care Work is required to be First Aid and CPR certified within 30 days of hire.
Candidates must be computer literate and have the ability to quickly learn new computer-related tasks in order to complete required documentation.
Preference will be given to applicants who have previous experience working in the mental health field.
The selected candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening. DBH will not hire individuals currently using illegal drugs or abusing alcohol; therefore, making employment at DBH conditional upon successfully passing pre-employment drug screening by providing a valid sample. Candidates who are offered employment are required to report for a drug screen at an Intermountain WorkMed location within 24 hours of being requested to do so by the DBH Human Resources Department.
Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants and must comply with the Federal drug laws, including no use of medical marijuana.
