Virginia ABC’s Information Technology Services (ITS) Division is seeking a Senior Client Services Analysts III to be a part of the Client Services Team. The incumbent will provide systems administration and support for POS-related equipment, servers, registers, and mobile devices located in the Virginia ABC’s Central Office, Warehouse, and Retail Store locations.

The Client Services Team provides the highest quality of customer service and technical support throughout the Authority. They are responsible for systems administration of the critical infrastructure that supports Virginia ABC’s Retail Division while maintaining compliance with the current versions of PCI DSS Standard, Commonwealth of Virginia ITRM Standard (SEC-501), and NIST 800-53. This infrastructure includes ABC Retail Division’s Azure Active Directory Domain, Mobile Device Management, Zebra (Android), Configuration Management, Security Updates, and Endpoint Protection.

Client Services is also responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, documentation, and security of the Virginia ABC Retail Environment (in-store Virginia ABC Retail servers, registers, licensee workstations, VeriFone terminals, handheld scanners, and wireless access points) and supporting infrastructure (all servers and systems not in stores that directly support the retail environment). In addition, this position is responsible for the analysis and resolution of hardware/software problems associated with the Virginia ABC Retail Environment and supporting infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL
JOB FUNCTIONS
  • This position will support management by providing training and mentorship to Client Services Analysts and attend meetings.
  • The incumbent will be responsible for implementing, executing, maintaining, and documenting proper security, business continuity, and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Must provide demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical employees.
  • Duties also include but are not limited to installation, configuration, and administration of point-of-sale equipment, servers, desktops, mobile devices, wireless access points, and other network equipment.
  • This position will provide on-call technical support in rotation with other team members via telephone or on-site as required.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience installing, maintaining, supporting, troubleshooting Windows 2018 and later servers.
  • Industry Standard Certifications: Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE), ITIL Foundations, VMware (VCP), CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+
  • Significant Active Directory, Group Policy, LDAP, DNS, WSUS, and DHCP experience.
  • Familiarity with PKI and Certificate services.

Preferred Qualifications
  • A degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
  • This position should be able to assess user needs, troubleshoot problems, and provide excellent customer support.
  • This position should be able to deploy hardware and software, provide training on new hardware an software and monitor metrics and performance.
  • This position requires a thorough understanding of LAN, UDP/TCP, ports and services, Nets/Subnets/Routing and have solid network gear configuration experience.
  • This position requires expert user skills with Windows desktop operating systems, strong admin skills with Windows Server operating systems, user knowledge of Applie iOS, OSX, Linux, and basic tuning skills.
  • This position requires the ability to write scripts and have knowledge of 1-2 scripting languages.
  • This position requires knowledge of OS virtualization and Administration.
