Summary:

Busy Orthopaedic Office located in Great Neck, NY is looking for a Clerical/Office support team member within the Billing Department

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Mail processing, sorting, scanning, and distribution
• Screening calls, taking messages and assisting callers within his/her scope of knowledge.
• Sorting and distributing email/faxes/mail and to appropriate person
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Assisting patients that call in to pay their medical bills
• Posting payments to the appropriate accounts.

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma/GED Required
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Experience working in a medical field is preferred
