Palfinger USA, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Class A Production Mechanic in the Jackson, NJ area. The Class A Production Mechanic will join our assembly team building PALFINGER wallboard and roofing crane truck packages. We are interested in candidates with farm equipment repair experience, class 5 to 8 truck mechanic experience, automotive mechanic experience, or hydraulic equipment assembly or maintenance.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Be able to think independently and perform with a minimum level of supervision.
• Power take off installation
• Hydraulic component installation and plumbing including hydraulic pumps, reservoirs, hydraulic driven air compressors, and auxiliary outriggers.
• PALFINGER wallboard and knuckle boom crane installations
• Installing and wiring all required clearance and safety lighting, signal lighting, and work lighting.
• Perform functional testing, load tests, and stability tests for completed crane package.

Job Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in mechanical assembly and electrical wiring.
• Hydraulic experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be physically able to work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 75lbs+ for extended periods of time
• 3 years mechanical experience
• Must speak, read and write English
• Supply own tools
• PALFINGER proprietary tools will be provided

Palfinger USA, LLC is currently seeking an experienced In-House Service Technician in the Jackson, NJ area. The In-House Service Technician's primary responsibility is for the branch leadership, operations performance, labor efficiency and timeliness of delivery. The main goal will be in expanding our market share for Palfinger service with a focus on customers.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
