Job description
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic civil engineer looking for an entrepreneurial opportunity to lead our professional team. Position duties are varied and include project managing, budgeting, scheduling, complete project design and client communications.
Candidates should have experience working with Auto CAD Map 3D with Carlson Civil for use in preparing engineering and design drawings for residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional developments, as well as municipal roadway, sanitary sewer, waste water, water main and storm water management projects.
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university and a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering. Position requires current PE licensure for the State of Kentucky or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Auto CAD – Map 3D, Carlson Civil
- Planning Commission Preparation and Presentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Exceptional Organizational Skills
