EnTech Engineering, PC is a multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm based in downtown Manhattan and Iselin, NJ. Our services include construction management and inspection, environmental consulting, civil design and BIM/VDC. EnTech is currently seeking a “Civil Engineer” to join our team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Civil engineering design for transportation and site/land development projects including, but not limited to horizontal geometry, grading, site layout, earthwork, profiles, utilities, storm water management, construction phasing, signing and pavement marking, maintenance and protection of traffic and erosion and sediment controls.
- Construction phase services in review of shop drawings and submittals and preparation of responses for RFIs during construction.
- Preparation of technical reports and presentations.
- Preparation of construction documents including contract drawings, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates.
- Assist with the writing of scopes of work and technical approaches for proposals.
- Organize and manage own workload and meet budget and schedule deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members across the design and engineering field to work on multiple challenging multidisciplinary projects and task assignments concurrently.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of professional experience in civil engineering design
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited Program
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microstation required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with NYC/NYS agencies is a plus
Estimated Annual Compensation:
$80,000 - $120,000 per year
